As Far As CBSE Is concerned, NCERT is Given The First Priority. It Would Be better If Yo ‘re Thorough With NCERT Intext & Book Back Exercises + The Concepts And Contents. In Case Of Maths, R.D.Sharma Can be Worked Out After Finishing Ur Exercises And Miscellaneous Exercises, That Can fetch You More Marks. Ur Preparation Should Be in Such a Way that U ‘ve understood The Concepts better… No Matter If It Is Q&A Type Or Notes type…. Work Hard..Score well… With Wishes And regards, Nisha.. :-)

Definitely NCERT is the best resource to build upon your concepts. Also, try not to just remember the concepts, instead you must understand the concept and this will help you to develop a passion for learning. Also, the basic concepts that you learn at this stage will play a crucial role in determining your chances of cracking JEE, AIEEE and BITSAT in future. So, try not to concentrate just on the marks but also learn and understand the concepts. Besides NCERT books you must go through books exclusively on some important topics of Maths, Physics and Chemistry.

    All the best
